General
What is ClawdiusAI?
ClawdiusAI is a hosted multi-agent AI platform built on OpenClaw. You define a mission — like "grow my SaaS to $10K MRR" or "manage my content pipeline" — and ClawdiusAI breaks it into tasks, delegates to specialist AI agents, and drives everything to completion. Each user gets a dedicated server, visual dashboard with kanban board, and an AI Orchestrator that coordinates the entire team.
What is OpenClaw and how does ClawdiusAI relate to it?
OpenClaw is an open-source AI agent framework. It lets you run autonomous agents — each with their own personality, skills, LLM model, and communication channels. Each agent runs as a persistent "gateway" process. ClawdiusAI is a fully managed hosting platform for OpenClaw. We handle server provisioning, configuration, SSL, DNS, updates, and monitoring. You get all the power of OpenClaw without any infrastructure work.
How is ClawdiusAI different from ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini?
ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini are single AI assistants — you chat with one model, one conversation at a time. They don't have persistent identity, they don't run tasks in the background, and they can't coordinate with other agents. ClawdiusAI gives you a team of specialized agents that work together autonomously. A content writer, SEO analyst, developer, and research assistant can all work in parallel on your mission, coordinated by an AI Orchestrator. The agents are always running — they don't wait for your next message to act.
How is this different from CrewAI, AutoGen, or LangGraph?
CrewAI, AutoGen, and LangGraph are multi-agent frameworks — they help developers build agent systems in code. They're libraries, not products. You still need to write the orchestration logic, set up infrastructure, and build a UI. ClawdiusAI is a ready-to-use platform. You don't write code — you define a mission in plain English, create agents through a wizard, and manage everything through a visual dashboard. The orchestration, task routing, and agent communication are all built in.
Agents & the Orchestrator
What is the Orchestrator?
The Orchestrator is your primary AI agent — think of it as the team lead. It holds your mission context, breaks it into actionable tasks, delegates to specialist agents based on their skills, monitors progress, follows up on blockers, and reports back to you. You talk to the Orchestrator; it talks to everything else. It runs as a persistent OpenClaw gateway with a specialized SOUL.md file that defines its coordination behavior.
What kind of specialist agents can I create?
Any kind. Common examples include content writers, SEO analysts, code developers, research assistants, social media managers, and support agents. Each agent is configured through the Agent Creation Wizard — you set a name, personality (tone, verbosity, voice), specialty (role, domain tags, skills), preferred LLM model, and optionally direct communication channels. No coding required. Every agent gets its own OpenClaw gateway with a unique SOUL.md defining its identity.
How many agents can I run?
Both beta plans include unlimited agents. In practice, the number of agents you can run simultaneously depends on your server's memory. A typical agent gateway uses about 100MB RAM. On the base server (2GB), you can comfortably run an Orchestrator plus 3-4 specialists. If you need more, the system automatically suggests an upgrade to a larger server — and we handle the migration for you with zero downtime.
Can agents use different LLM models?
Yes. Each agent can use a different model. You might run your Orchestrator on Claude Opus for deep reasoning, your Content Writer on Claude Sonnet for fast drafting, and your Research Assistant on GPT-4 for broad knowledge. Models are configured per-agent through the wizard and can be changed anytime. All major providers are supported through OpenRouter.
Do agents have memory? Do they remember past conversations?
Yes. Each agent is a persistent process with its own context and conversation history. They don't start from scratch every time — they maintain awareness of their assigned tasks, past interactions, and the overall mission. The Orchestrator specifically maintains a running picture of mission progress, completed work, and active tasks.
Setup & Integrations
Do I need to set up a server or install anything?
No. When you sign up and pay, ClawdiusAI automatically provisions a dedicated cloud server for you. It comes pre-configured with OpenClaw, the dashboard, Caddy (for SSL), and your Orchestrator agent. Everything is ready in under 60 seconds. You access it through a browser at yourname.cloud.clawdiusai.com.
What does BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) mean?
BYOK means you can use your own LLM API keys — from OpenRouter (recommended, gives you access to all providers), or direct from Anthropic, OpenAI, etc. This gives you full control over costs and model selection. Alternatively, you can use our managed keys for zero-friction onboarding: you don't create any external accounts, we handle everything, and token usage is tracked in your dashboard. You can switch between BYOK and managed keys anytime.
Can I connect agents to Telegram, WhatsApp, or other channels?
Yes. ClawdiusAI supports webhook-based channel integrations. The most common setup: connect your Orchestrator to Telegram so it can send you daily summaries, alert you about blockers, and receive instructions from you on the go. WhatsApp and other messaging platforms work similarly. The dashboard's built-in activity feed is always available as the primary communication channel.
Is my data isolated from other users?
Completely. Every ClawdiusAI account runs on its own dedicated virtual machine — not a shared container, not a multi-tenant database. Your data, your agents, your API keys, and your conversations never touch anyone else's infrastructure. If you delete your account, the entire server is destroyed.
Pricing & Plans
How much does ClawdiusAI cost?
The Founding 10 plan is $29/mo (first 10 users) and the Early Bird plan is $49/mo (next 10 users). Both include unlimited agents, a dedicated server, dashboard, kanban, fleet overview, mission tracking, and the full orchestration layer. Early access users lock in their price permanently — it never increases as long as the subscription is active.
What's included in the price?
Everything: dedicated cloud server, OpenClaw installation, Orchestrator agent, dashboard with kanban and fleet view, SSL, DNS, health monitoring, automatic updates, and access to the Agent Creation Wizard. The only thing not included is LLM token costs — either through BYOK (you pay your provider directly) or through our managed keys (included credits with transparent overage billing).
Can I try it before paying?
We're currently in limited beta with 20 seats total. There's no free trial during beta, but the Founding 10 pricing ($29/mo) is the lowest price we'll ever offer — and it locks in permanently. Join the waitlist and you'll be notified as soon as a seat opens up.
What happens if I cancel?
If you cancel, your server is kept alive for 7 days in case you change your mind. After that, the server and all data are permanently deleted. We don't hold your data hostage or charge for storage after cancellation. If you locked in Founding pricing and cancel, you lose that rate — re-subscribing later means paying the current price.
Technical
Is ClawdiusAI open source?
ClawdiusAI itself — the control plane, provisioning, billing, and orchestration layer — is not open source. However, the AI agent framework underneath is OpenClaw, which is open source. If you want to self-host and build everything yourself, you can use OpenClaw directly. ClawdiusAI is for people who want the managed, batteries-included experience.
What LLM models and providers are supported?
ClawdiusAI supports all major LLM providers through OpenRouter: Claude (Anthropic), GPT-4 and GPT-4o (OpenAI), Gemini (Google), Llama (Meta), Mistral, and many others. Each agent can use a different model and even a different provider. If you're on BYOK, you can use any provider that OpenRouter supports, or connect directly to Anthropic/OpenAI.
What server specs does each account get?
The base plan gives you a cloud VM with 2 vCPUs and 2GB RAM — enough for an Orchestrator plus 3-4 specialist agents. If you need more capacity, we automatically migrate you to a larger server (4GB, 8GB) with zero downtime. Server costs are included in your plan — no surprise infrastructure bills.
Can I SSH into my server?
During beta, server access is dashboard-only. We're evaluating SSH access for power users who want to customize their OpenClaw configuration beyond what the wizard offers. If this is important to you, let us know.
